Our PODS
Our PODS is made up of hard-working parents who pool their talents to provide practical support for our school. Those listed below volunteered to provide leadership this year. Get to know their names and faces, and feel free to ask them if you have questions. Interested in open positions? Contact us!
Catherine Hsu Velez, PODS Co-Chair
Catherine is in her second year as PODS co-chair! Cat and her husband Jon have two daughters - Isla (5) and Lake (3). As a family they love to go on adventures to new places, explore the outdoors, try new foods, and have plenty of dance parties. She is excited to continue working with the school and connecting with more families here at St Paul’s Day School - Looking forward to an amazing school year!
Kristin Orr, PODS Co-Chair
Kristin has returned to co-chair PODS after serving a year as an advisor. Her older two (Bobby, 2nd grade, and Charlotte, 1st grade) are both at Franklin after going through St. Paul's, and her son James is in the 4's class. Kristin has a deep love for St. Paul's and loves being part of such a special school community!
Caty Gray, PODS Events Chair
Caty is thrilled to be this year's PODS events chair! She and her husband Avery have two sons--Jack (5) and Elliott (2)--and a dog, Phoebe. You can find the Gray family playing outside, rocking out to their favorite music, and sampling Westfield's best baked goods. She is looking forward to a wonderful year of family, friends and fun at St. Paul's!
Shea Laurenzo, PODS Teacher Cheer Chair
Shea joins PODS this year as the Teacher Cheer Chair. Shea moved to Westfield last fall with her husband, Ricky, and their three kids— Luca (5), Emerson (3), and Harper (1). You’ll likely see Shea pushing a large double stroller on Euclid, rushing to drop-off or pick-up. As a former teacher, Shea recognizes the importance of supporting our educators and showing how much we truly appreciate all they do for our children. She believes that small acts of gratitude go a long way in creating a positive school climate that directly benefits all staff and students. Shea is looking forward to a great year of spreading cheer at SPDS!
